From the beginning we always believed that there was a better way to provide Home Care.

... Community Care

In 2005 our first care business, Calon Lan Community Care was conceived through several factors; the first being a belief that Home Care could be better, the second a trip to Rome and the third was Wales’ Grand Slam Victory.

Since its humble beginnings from a tiny office space, Calon Lan has gone from strength to strength being one of the largest and most reputable Home Care Providers in North Wales; providing care to people in four Counties, receiving four Wales Care Wards and two Investors in People Gold Awards.  Now, our name is synonymous with Outstanding Care provision because people know they will receive a professional, dignified service every time.

In 2009, we decided to build on the success of Calon Lan and began to offer our services to people and communities throughout England, under the name of Blue Ribbon Community Care.  The name Blue Ribbon was chosen not just as a mark of quality but because the very beginnings involved a family member who was a Cordon Bleu chef.

And so, Blue Ribbon was born, and so far we have lived up to our promise of quality and value whilst safeguarding the people we care for.

We have a wealth of expertise to draw from because the Directors of Blue Ribbon come from a care background, working from the ground up. This experience stems from the early 1990's when home care was still in its infancy and includes working for; Local Authorities, Charities and the Private Sector, in both Residential and Domiciliary Care. The needs and aspirations of the individual are at the centre of everything we do and this approach has earned us a quality reputation with the regulators and communities we support. We are proud to be at the forefront of delivering excellent domiciliary care - now and for the future.
