We are looking for more wonderful Home Care Workers to join our fantastic team in Sunderland.

Blue Ribbon Community Care in Tyne and Wear is one of the highest rated home care providers by client satisfaction in the UK.  We are currently looking for two more Health and Social Care Workers to compliment our fantastic team.

We work across Sunderland and Washington and we help people to remain independent in their own home.

This means we may:
• help people out of bed in the morning, or back to bed of an evening,
• help people with their medication,
• help people get washed and ready,
• help people with food preparation,
• offer companionship and support.

In our last staff survey, every member of staff rated their overall opinion of Blue Ribbon as “Excellent”.

You do not need experience of home care to work with us as full training is given, as well as on-going training, support and qualifications. All staff are trained up to level 2 and then further qualifications are offered depending on client needs.

We are community based you will need access to your own car (mileage is paid).

Previous experience would be an advantage but it’s not essential. Comprehensive and paid training will be provided for you during the first two weeks of the recruitment process. The job role requires you to; provide personal care, perform domestic duties, promote independence, dignity & well-being and generally support people who use our service in their own homes. Driving license and own transport would be advantageous if you’re looking for a greater number of hours. Successful applicants are required to provide a DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service) Enhanced Disclosure
